I’m a qualified and experienced Psychodynamic therapist and supervisor.

I understand the difficulty of accepting the reality of your life when it just isn’t working out. Resisting doing something about that reality just keeps you stuck in an emotionally painful place where you continue to suffer. You can’t change your past, what has happened has happened. However,  you can change how you think and feel about your past experiences, which, in turn, helps you to heal and move forward.

I help you to think about the way you relate to yourself and others giving you more choice to make positive changes in your life. I help you to reflect on your way of being now and support you to understand how your past experiences, particularly in childhood, have contributed to how you think, feel and behave as an adult.

Please do get in touch if you would like to talk about how I can help.

Thank you for guiding me so expertly from a position of anxiety (with regard to a family relationship) to one of confidence and positivity. By concentrating on my own perception and feelings, you helped to unravel my emotions so that I could see things more clearly, and act accordingly, with a very positive outcome. The change happened almost imperceptibly, over the months that I saw you, so that I was able to say honestly in my last session, (with regard to the point I had reached emotionally) –  ‘it’s a good place to be’. “Words can’t express how much my sessions with Louise have helped me over the last few years. I will be forever grateful for her support and wise words. She is the first person I have been able to open up to and really helped me to understand my thinking”. Testimonial by NC
