“The positive changes in my life since working with you, Louise, continue to amaze me! Your wisdom, warmth, insight, patience and challenge helped me to gradually shift my beliefs about myself and my emotions until I found the courage to make positive decisions and choices for myself – some very small and some that really do feel life-changing. I can’t thank you enough for guiding me so expertly and compassionately on this journey”. Education Manager – Retired

“I was struggling to manage my anger and came to you through an ultimatum from my partner to get some counselling or she would end our relationship. Initially I felt resentful but after a few weeks I wanted to come and talk to you. I started to understand myself in a way I never thought possible and our relationship started to change for the better. Life has become less dramatic, and less painful, and the future feels more positive, for me and my partner. Thank you”. Engineer, Dunfermline

“You helped me to find myself. At first, I wasn’t at all sure that I could open up about my past. You made it easy by helping me to trust you, which in turn helped me to trust myself. You helped me to see what I was doing to people and to myself and more importantly, why I was doing these destructive things. I can now see what a great person I am! I am forever grateful”. “I contacted Louise after trying many different approaches to treating a depression which has affected me since I was a teenager. For the first time in years I understood why I was unhappy and as I started to orient myself in a more meaningful direction my depression lifted. It is difficult to put in to words the effect that my time with Louise has had on me- life changing will always sound dramatic – but my life has absolutely changed for the better and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful, caring and dedicated person to work with in Louise” Testimonial by DL
