I work mainly from a purely Psychodynamic theoretical framework.

Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytical Therapy

Psychodynamic/Psychoanalytical therapy helps to unravel deep-rooted unconscious feelings that can help you to understand the patterns of behaviour that cause you and others difficulties. Our unconscious holds onto painful feelings and memories, which are too difficult for the conscious mind to process. To stop these memories from surfacing, many people will develop defences, such as denial, avoidance and blaming. These defences will often do more harm than good. A part of the work we do together is to understand what your patterns of behaviour are, particularly the ones that are self destructive.
