Psychodynamic Therapy

That of which we are not aware, owns us.”    James Hollis

Whatever your reasons for being here, you are very welcome.

Whatever difficulties you are experiencing Psychodynamic Therapy can help you to gain insight into why they exist and why they persist.

Psychodynamic Therapy is a gradual process of developing an awareness of that which is unknown to you (your unconscious world) which is instrumental in understanding why you think, feel and behave in the ways you do in the present.

It can be especially helpful in understanding and changing habitual patterns of behaving (especially relationally), it can help you to have a less debilitating relationship with anxiety, to cope better with depression and to help you to feel that new ways of being are possible for you.

The relationship you have with your therapist is instrumental in helping you to feel free to explore and understand yourself more profoundly. I offer you a safe, ethical and welcoming space in which to develop this important therapeutic relationship. I am a professionally qualified therapist and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
